A packet is a small package. It was supposed to regulate the shipment of goods between a letter and a parcel when it was introduced. The parcels may not be heavier than two kilograms for parcel shipping and are specially marked. For a sender to be able to send the package, it must also have a certain size. In Germany, a parcel must be at least 15 x 11 x 1 cm in size. The maximum size of the parcel package is 60 x 30 x 15 cm.
