When different parts of a load are combined, this is called piece goods as they are transported piece by piece. General cargo may include boxes or pallets, but also machines or other parts of the system are considered general cargo. The size of piece goods is set by each parcel shipping itself, so there is no uniform size. The load handling differs from the charge transport because it only is issued orders for a particular product and not claimed the entire van. Every general cargo carrier has its own guidelines regarding size and weight. In most cases, shipments of more than 40-50 kilograms are no longer considered as a package and transported by general cargo logistics.
